Mujlad community leaders reject the army’s presence in the area
Misseriya youths blame army for killing 3 citizens, wounding 6

The citizens of al-Mujlad area in West Kordofan State have decided not to cooperate with the Sudan Armed Forces and to resist any army presence in the area, after three citizens including a woman were killed and six others were injured during a recent pursuit carried out by the army’s military police against what they called “outlaws.”
The youth of al-Mujlad, who gathered to mourn the citizens of the Madani Barshom community, stressed the non-recognition of all the men of the Native Administration that cooperate with the army, in reference to recent meetings between certain Misseriya tribal leaders and army commanders in the Babanusa region, where the military regional headquarters is located.
