RSF convoy enters White Nile State
First appearance of Hemedti's troops in the southeastern state
A convoy of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) consisting of at least 50 combat vehicles entered White Nile State for the first time, arriving in the village of al-’Alqa on the west bank of the Nile on October 15, according to videos posted to social media.
The force under the command of Brigadier Hamed Musa is large enough to suggest that the RSF seek to exert and establish control over the area; it isn’t just a scouting party or a raiding party like some previous RSF forays out of Khartoum State.
