RSF spread disinformation about advancing toward Dongola
Convoy of RSF vehicles reaches 60 km northwest of Omdurman
A raiding party of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) recently traveled north along the Omdurman-Dongola road, according to a video recorded in the area.
The military purpose of this journey was to scout for army reinforcements and attempt to attack logistics convoys, if any, heading south along this road toward the army bases in Omdurman. They also are likely searching for food supplies and fuel to feed their soldiers, which they can steal from local farms and businesses along the way.
But RSF propaganda media claimed that the video showed their forces advancing towards Dongola, indicating that they were preparing to attack Northern State.
This is not true because the militia force in the video is too small to attack a stronghold of the Sudan Armed Forces, in addition to the fact that the video was recorded in Abudhulu inspection point (16.062029, 32.001805), which is more than 400 kilometers southeast of Dongola.
