SAF attacked in Kadroo in Khartoum Bahri
Army claims to repulse attack but RSF take prisoners
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) clashed in Al-Kadroo in northern Khartoum Bahri on Tuesday, July 25.
Although sources on both sides confirmed the fighting and claimed exaggerated successes, neither side officially made any statement about it.
Al-Kadroo is one of two or three areas in Bahri where the army still has forces. Two military facilities near the University of Bahri anchor the SAF presence in the area.
RSF influencers and unofficial media circulated the below video, saying it showed fighting in the area.
RSF captured some prisoners, including one with the rank of lieutenant colonel, as seen in the video below. In a separate interrogation video also shared online, the officer said he belonged to the 1st Division of Wad Madani and commanded 250 men.
