SAF smuggle reinforcements into besieged area around the military hospital
Reinforcements and supplies still reach besieged base
Sudan’s Armed Forces have succeeded in reinforcing the Medical Corps area, which adjoins the Corps of Engineers, according to a prisoner-of-war interview published yesterday by social media accounts affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Because the area is surrounded by RSF forces, we have said that it is “besieged.” Like many sieges in history, the battle for this area involves defensive earthworks and walls, tactics such as sorties and counter-sorties, efforts to relieve the siege by outside forces, information warfare to influence morale, artillery duels, and—as confirmed now by several sources—smuggling of supplies and reinforcements.
